Considering myself to be a “goddamn lucky bastard”

This is what can happen if you cut wood on a table saw and you are not careful doing so.

At this point I consider myself to be a goddamn “(lucky lucky lucky lucky) × ∞” fool to still have all my fingers (although they’re quite stitched up at the moment).

“Hidden” VNC Client in MacOS X Leopard

Today I found an interesting article on a “hidden” VNC client inside Mac OS X 10.5 on arthur.wiebe’s blog. The client is basically a part of Apple‘s Screen Sharing function in Leopard, but used correctly it can be a independent VNC client which you can use to connect to any standard VNC server.

You can read more about arthur.wiebe’s discovery here.

I did some testing and it works as every other VNC client, so no problem there. However I do miss two things. First is the possibility to bookmark my VNC destinations if they are located out of my local network (VNC servers inside your LAN should be detected by OS X and should show up in Finder automatically). And second is the feature I miss with all OS X VNC clients, and that is file transfer possibility.
